If you get drunk enough you fall asleep and don't notice the cough, right?

Apparently I have a "productive" cough that is needed to bring up stuff from the depths, so I'm not supposed to stop it from happening too much. I'm also not supposed to have any alcohol because it reduces the efficiency of the antibiotics and I need all the help I can get. Though I made a really yummy cinnamon/brandy hot toddy on New Year's Eve that worked a treat!Louisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11685532773952211627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12698509.post-67598051856047152882008-01-03T19:17:00.000-08:002008-01-03T19:17:00.000-08:00Not that I'm a fan of the antibiotic but you sound...Not that I'm a fan of the antibiotic but you sound like a candidate to me!! You've been sick too much lately so maybe your word for 2008 should be Accentuate or Eliminate! Like Jiminey Cricket . . Aaaaaaccentuate the positve . . . Elimmmmminate the negative! Try some warm honey & lemon for that raspy throat & a little Sharon's cough medicine for the rest - you get a two quart canning jar & throw in some quarterd plums, two cups of sugar & a big jug of Vodka. Let sit for as long as you can. When you start to cough, drink about 3 ounces. The cough will ease & you will sleep. Guaranteed! You can also mix a bottle of Ribena with a quart of vodka for the same effect. Get well soon, Old Bean.Sharon in Surreyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12864797100804511728noreply@blogger.com
