Or Maybe Spinning Thursday Too?

Somebody stole my spinning chair! Maybe Ms Julie thinks I should spin her fur too, huh? It almost matches the black wool. Nope, my cats are not Fibre Animals unfortunately. Except that my house is covered in their fur — which sounds like a paradox, doesn't it? I've actually tried spinning both my cats' fur and it wasn't pretty at all and too short to hold together as yarn. I'd have to blend it with something but why bother? It's ugly and kind of prickly and not worth it. I really think Julie just likes stealing my chair when I vacate it for a minute because it's warm!

I've almost finished spinning up enough black yarn to ply with the dye-painted stuff I spun last week. Two skeins — I wonder what I'll make with it? Right now I'm just happy to get some spinning done.

I haven't done any more sewing since Tuesday. It's supposed to be the hottest day of the year here today so I shouldn't wait until my studio heats up. But wait! My chair is free! I'm going back to spinning first. The black/gray shirt can wait. Damselfly is on a spinning roll right now.
